This program is for skilled workers with foreign work experience who want to immigrate to Canada permanently. If you meet all of the minimum requirements, your application is assessed according to a scoring system based on

  • your education
  • your work experience
  • whether you have a valid job offer
  • your language skills in English or French
  • your adaptability (how well you will settle here)

The federal and provincial/territorial governments welcome business immigrants and provide services to help immigrants start a business and settle in Canada.

The Federal Skilled Trades Program is for skilled workers who want to become permanent residents because of their qualification in a skilled trade.

The Canadian Experience Class is for skilled workers who have Canadian work experience and wish to become permanent residents.

The Quebec Experience Program (PEQ) allows for the selection of skilled workers who wish to settle in Quebec on a permanent basis. This program is intended for Quebec graduates and temporary foreign workers who are employed and who meet certain conditions, including demonstrating a knowledge of oral French (oral comprehension and oral production) at a level of proficiency equal to or higher than level 7 of the Quebec scale of proficiency in French for adult immigrants or its equivalent.

  • Student
    Entering Canada as a student is a great privilege, not a right. You can apply for an initial permit or even extend your permit once in Canada. We will accompany you in all your steps so that you are among the privileged ones who have the chance to study in Canada.
  • Temporary Worker
    Canada offers a wide range of temporary work programs (open and closed) to foreign nationals. You are eligible for an open work permit if you have graduated from a Canadian institution and can apply for a post-graduation work permit. The open work permit can also be issued if you are in one of the following categories (summer l: spouse or common-law partner of a student or a temporary work permit holder in Canada) The Closed Work Permit is for aspiring foreign nationals and also for persons in Canada who wish to extend an expired Open Work Permit. The closed work permit requires a valid job offer and an EIMT (Etude d'Impact sur le Marché du Travail) in Quebec in addition to a CAQ (Certificat d'Acceptation du Québec à titre de travailleur temporaire).
  • Sponsorship of family members
    As a temporary resident in Canada (worker or student) it is possible to sponsor your spouse and children who will receive an open work permit for the spouse and studies for your children.
